The Karnataka Examination Authority, Known as KEA, has announced that the Karnataka DCET (Diploma – Common Entrance Test) 2025 registration link is now available with Important Dates. The KEA DCET Online Application Registration is available between 3rd to 15th March 2025 https://cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
This exam is conducted for diploma candidates who wish to apply for lateral entry into 2nd year or 3rd semester engineering courses and 1st year architecture courses under the government quota. Applicants must apply online, and the schedule, required documents, and other important information are provided below.
Karnataka Diploma CET Eligibility
- For admission to BE courses, the Diploma qualification should be passed with a minimum of 45% marks. SC/ST candidates should have passed in all subjects with 40% marks.
- For admission to the B.Arch course, one must have scored 40% marks on the NATA exam. One should also have studied PCM in 10+2 education or obtained at least 50% marks in Mathematics in Diploma.
How to Apply for Karnataka DCET 2025
- Click on the Karnataka DCET 2025 Online Registration Link to apply for the exam.
- Then select “Proceed To Registration For New User” to start the application process.
- Note that details such as Kannada medium, caste, income certificates, school attendance, etc., recorded by candidates while applying will be verified online through SATS and the revenue department’s web service.
- Physical verification of documents will not be done.
- The details entered by the candidates online will be considered final and the basis for all further processes.
Candidates seeking admission to 2nd year or 3rd semester engineering courses through lateral entry in engineering colleges and 1st year architecture course must apply before the due date. The DCET Date 2025 and Kannada Language Exam Dates for Outland and Frontier Kannadigas will be released soon.
Required Documents:
- SSLC / 10th Marks Card – To enter the registration number and date of birth.
- 12th / 2nd PUC Marks Card – (in case of students from the previous year).
- All Reservation Certificates must mention RD No/Caste (Category, Income, Skim Layer Certificate (NCLC), Hyderabad-Karnataka (HK)).
- Details studied in Karnataka.
- A recent passport-size photograph of the candidate is in .jpg format (max 50 KB size).
- The candidate’s signature should be in .jpg format (max 50 KB size).
- Candidate’s hand thumb in .jpg format (max size 50 KB).
Important Dates:
- DCET 2025 Registration Starting Date: 03-05-2024.
- Last Date for DCET 2025 Registration: 15-05-2024 till 11:59 PM.
- The last date to pay the application fee is 18-05-2024, up to 06:00 PM.
