WB TET Lifetime Certificate Validation Correction with Schedule

West Bengal State State School Service Commission (SSC) giving lifetime valid TET certificate, correction in old notification? When and how will you get it?

On June 18, the School Service Commission notified that applications for the TET Lifetime Certificate 2011 could be submitted starting from July 31, 2024. Previously, the Upper Primary TET pass (WB TET) was valid for 7 years according to the National Council for Teacher Education norms.

However, in 2023, the validity was extended from seven years to a lifetime. The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) issued a notification, followed by the State School Service Commission (SSC), making the upper-primary TET examination valid for life. The School Service Commission will now provide a lifetime valid TET certificate (WB TET Lifetime Certificate).

Additionally, a notification was issued on June 18, indicating that applications for the Tate Lifetime Certificate of 2011 can be submitted until July 31, 2024, by 2 PM on all working days. A schedule for issuing revised valid certificates has been published by the School Service Commission, and the respective regional commission will distribute the certificates. Candidates will receive notification at least 7 days before the scheduled date to collect the certificate.

The revised valid certificate will be available at Acharya Sadan, Salt Lake, Kolkata, and a separate timetable has been published for candidates from all regions.

When and who can apply for WB TET Lifetime Validation Correction

  • From 19.06.2024 to 21.06.2024 for all region candidates.
  • 24.06.2024 to 28.06.2024 for North and East Division candidates only.
  • 01.07.2024 to 05.07.2024 for West and South Division Candidates.
  • 08.07.2024 to 12.07.2024 for North and South East Division Candidates.
  • 15.07.2024 to 19.07.2024 for East and West Division candidates.
  • 22.07.2024 to 26.07.2024 for South East and Southern candidates.
  • 29.07.2024 to 31.07.2024 for candidates of all sections.

Candidates can also submit their application and collect the certificate at the regional office as per the schedule. Applications can be made in this office between 15 July and 31 July 2024.

  • South Eastern Office at Barast.
