The TGSWR Gurukula Society in Telangana is inviting applications from interested students to fill the remaining seats in SC Gurukuls. Applications should be submitted by paying a fee of Rs. 100 before July 12.
TG Gurukal Society is seeking applications to fill the backlog seats for admissions in Class 5 to Class 9 in Social Welfare (SC) Gurukuls. Students who wish to transfer from one school to another must apply online by July 31.
However, some parents are expressing concern over the Rs. 100 application fee for the replacement of backlog seats. They believe it is unnecessary to charge a fee again after already paying for the entrance exam.
Approximately 800 students have applied for the remaining seats, but the parents question the need for new applications without a decision on the existing ones. They particularly note the vacancies in classes 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th, besides the 5th class.
According to the Gurukula Society, priority will be given to several categories when filling up the seats, including those who have not yet joined the society, those who have taken the entrance exam, orphans, single parents, and disabled individuals.
The society emphasized that parents should not visit the society’s offices or regional coordinators, and instead, it will communicate admissions information via text to eligible applicants.
