APPSC Group-2 Prelims Results 2024 have been announced at https://psc.ap.gov.in, along with the Cut-Off Marks and Shortlisted Candidate list in Categories for Open Category, OBC, SC, and ST candidates.
The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) is expected to release the Group-2 Prelims Result soon at any time from now. The APPSC Board Member, Parigi Sudhir, announced on March 30th that the results for the Group-2 exam will be released soon. The Group-2 Prelims exam was conducted on February 25th.
A total of 4,83,525 candidates applied for the Group-2 Prelims 2024 exam. Out of them, 4,63,517 people downloaded the hall tickets, and 4,04,037 (87.17%) appeared for the exam. Parigi Sudhir, the APPSC Board Member, had previously announced that the selection ratio for the Group 2 Prelims Exam 2024 will be 1:100.
The selection for the second stage mains will be based on the merit shown in the APPSC Group-2 Screening Test. The main examination will be conducted in two papers of 300 marks. Paper 1 will consist of two sections. Section-1 will be about the Social History of Andhra Pradesh, covering Social and Cultural Movements in Andhra Pradesh. Section-2 will consist of 150 questions (150 marks) based on the review of the Constitution of India.
Similarly, in Paper-2, Section-1 will be about the Economy of India, AP, and Section-2 will consist of 150 questions (150 marks) based on Science and Technology.
