Delhi Schools EWS/DG Admissions Online Application Registrations 2025 Started on 30 April, and the registration process continues until 15 May 2025 for EWS / DG Admissions and EWS / Freeship Admissions at https://edudel.nic.in.
Admissions for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) quota in private schools of Delhi for the academic session 2025-26 will begin on April 30, as announced by the Delhi Education Department. Interested and eligible parents can apply for admission to their children by visiting the official website, edudel.nic.in, before the last date of submission, which is May 15.
Delhi Schools EWS Admission Reserved Seats
To avoid any inconvenience during the application process, parents and students are advised to start preparing the required documents now. As per government regulations, 25% of the seats in private schools in Delhi are reserved for EWS and Children with Special Needs (CWSN). These seats will be allotted through a computer-based lottery system that will be held on May 20.
Delhi Schools EWS/DG Admissions Eligibility 2025
- Children belonging to EWS and Disadvantaged Category (DG) enrolled in pre-school or nursery should be between 3 and 5 years of age.
- For children with disabilities (CWD or CWSN), this age limit is 3 to 7 years.
- At the same time, the age of children taking admission in pre-primary or KG of EWS and DG should be between 3 to 6 years.
- The age of children taking admission in class 1 under EWS and DG category should be between 5 to 7 years.
- Eligibility for EWS admission
- Must be a permanent resident of Delhi.
- The annual income of the student’s family should not exceed Rs 2.5 lakh.
