A notification for the FMGE 2025 exam has been released. The Foreign Medical Graduate Exam (FMGE) form is available on the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) official website at nbe.edu.in. The FMGE screening test is mandatory for medical graduates who have completed their studies outside India and wish to obtain a medical license to practice in India.
The Screening Test Regulations, 2002, require Indian citizens or non-resident Indian citizens who have obtained temporary or permanent registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or any State Medical Council on or after March 15, 2002, to pass the FMGE examination as per Section 13 of the Act.
NBEMS FMGE Exam 2025
The NBEMS is responsible for conducting the FMGE examination. Candidates who successfully pass the screening test are issued a certificate by the NBEMS after verification of biometric/face ID and the required documents taken during the examination.
FMGE Exam 2025: Exam on 6th July
This examination is conducted every year. This year’s schedule for 2025 is as follows-
