JoSAA Counselling Dates 2025 will be announced with a complete schedule for admission to 118 institutes, including 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IEST Shibpur, 26 IITs, and 38 other technical institutes. The JoSAA Counselling will be a total of 6 rounds, and the complete schedule will be announced at https://csab.ac.in/ and josaa.nic.in.
The result of JEE Main 2025 Session-2 has been released, and candidates who appeared for the exam can download their scores from the official website. The counselling process for JEE Advanced will start soon after the release of the JEE Main Session-2 result. After that, counselling will be conducted for admission. The JoSAA Counseling 2025 Schedule has been announced, and the results have been declared for 10.67 lakh students who appeared for the second session of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains 2025 examination. A total of 56 students have achieved 100 percentile in the examination.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has completed the examinations for both sessions, and the seat allotment process is going to start soon. In this situation, let us know when the counselling process will start from JoSAA.
NTA scores and JEE Mains Rank 2025 for BE and B.Tech examinations are now available on the NTA website jeemain.nta.ac.in for all students who appeared in sessions 1 and 2. The NTA JEE Mains Score Card 2025 includes the score of both Sessions. For students who have appeared in both sessions of the examination, their best score will be considered at the time of admission. The agency has clarified that there is no provision for rechecking or revaluation of marks in the evaluation.
JEE Mains Rank 2025 will include All India Rank (AIR) and All India Category Rank. NTA has also said that there will be no provision for revaluation or rechecking of marks. Students will need help to request a JEE Main rank rechecking.
JEE Mains All India Rank (AIR) will be used for admission through the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) and Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). Admission to National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), centrally funded technical institutes, and others are offered through CSAB only on the basis of JEE Mains score.
Admission to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) will be based on the JEE Advanced 2025 score. Only the top 2.5 lakh students of JEE Mains will be eligible to appear for IIT JEE Advanced.
Eligibility for Seat Allotment
To be eligible for seat allotment, students seeking admission to NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs must have scored at least 75% marks in the Class 12 examination or be in the top 20 percentile in the Class 12 examination conducted by the respective education boards. Candidates belonging to a reserved category of SC/ST must have obtained at least 65% marks in the class 12 board examination.
Admission in NIT will start after 6 rounds of JoSAA counselling. After the 6th JoSAA seat counselling, the CSAB Board will conduct two rounds of seat allotment to fill the seats in other institutes, including NITs. Individual institutes will announce the cut-off by NIT. Information regarding the eligibility criteria will be shared soon on the official website, https://csab.ac.in/, and josaa.nic.in.
