Department of School Education, Assam and the State Board of Secondary Education Board of Guwahati announced the state class 10th standard annual final public examination schedule with practical test dates for the academic year of 2024.

Secondary Education Board of Assam, Known as SEBA, has announced the Assam 10th Class Programme for the high school leaving certificate final examination schedule 2024. Every the SEBA announces the draft schedule for both medium students studying in the state government and private schools.
SEBA HSLC Routine 2024
Department of Education and Board of Secondary Education has announced the SEBA HSLC Routine 2024 with subject wide examination schedule. According to the SEBA Routine 2024, the Class 10th Standard annual final exams are scheduled from February to March 2024.

SEBA Practical Routine 2024
According to the SEBA HSLC Practical Routine 2024, the examinations are held on the 2nd and 3rd of February 2024 in two sessions such as a morning session between 9 AM to 11 AM, and an Afternoon session between 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM.
Examination of all the above Practical subjects will be held in the Examination Centre from where the Candidates appear in theory subjects for the same. That is, this year also, the Practical Examination will be held in the theory Examination Centres, NOT be held in Venues.

Instructions about Assam 10th Exams 2024
- 5(five) minutes extra time is allowed from 8:55 a.m to 9:00 a.m in the Morning shift and 1:25 p.m to 1:30 p.m in the Afternoon shift to read the Question Paper only. The Officer-in-Charge will arrange the distribution of Question Papers accordingly.
- Modern Indian Languages (MIL): Assamese, Bengali, Hindi, Bodo, Manipuri, Khasi, Garo, Hmar, Mizo, Urdu, Nepali & Karbi.
- Elective Languages (Time 3 hours) and In Lieu Languages (Time 2 hours) : There will be common Question paper with group A and group B for the Language viz, – Assamese (E), Hindi (E), Manipuri (E) & Santhali (E).
- Candidates offering Elective subject will have to appear in both the groups A and B while In Lieu Language the candidates will have to appear in group A only, which will be treated as Assamese (IL), Hindi (LL), Manipuri (IL) & Santhali (IL) respectively.
