The registration for the Combined Graduate Level Examination 2024 of the Staff Selection Commission has commenced from today, i.e., 24th June. Interested candidates can apply for this exam by visiting the official website at ssc.gov.in. The last date to apply for the SSC CGL Exam 2024 is 25th July 2024.
The SSC CGL Tier One Exam exam date has not been released, but it is expected to be in September or October. This will be a computer-based exam conducted at various centers across the country. Successful candidates will be selected for Group B gazetted and non-gazetted posts as well as Group C staff posts under the Central Ministry.
Here are some important dates to keep in mind:
- The last date to apply for the SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam is 24th July 2024.
- The last date to pay the application fee is 25th July 2024.
- The last date for offline fee payment is 26th July 2024.

Eligibility criteria for applying to these posts include having a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. The age limit for candidates to apply is between 18 and 32 years, with age calculated from 1st August 2024.
The SSC CGL Tier One exam is one hour long and is conducted online. The Tier Two exam consists of three papers with varying durations: Paper 1 (150 minutes), Paper 2 (120 minutes), and Paper 3 (120 minutes).
The medium of the exam is English and Hindi. The application fee is ₹100, and selection is done after passing through multiple stages of the exam. About 20 lakh candidates register for this exam each year.
