SSC MTS 2024 Havaldar Notification Announced at ssc.gov.in


The Staff Selection Commission will soon release the SSC MTS Havaldar 2024 exam notification, which will be available on the Commission’s official website, ssc.gov.in.

As per the notice issued by SSC, the notice for the SSC MTS Havaldar Exam 2024 will be released on 27 June, and applications will commence on the same day. The last date to apply is 27 July 2024.

The exam dates have not been confirmed yet, but it is estimated that the exam will likely be held in October/November 2024. Eligible candidates can apply for the posts of Multi Tasking Staff (Non-Technical) and Havildar through the online mode, and the exam will be conducted in computer-based exam (CBE) mode.

Candidates applying for these posts will need to pay a fee of ₹100. Class 10th pass candidates are eligible to apply for these vacancies, with the age limit for MTS post being 18 to 25 years and for Havildar post being 18 to 27 years.

For MTS posts, there will be only a written exam in a computer-based exam format. In contrast, for Havildar posts, Physical Efficiency Test (PET) or Physical Standard Test (PST) will also be conducted.

Upon selection, the in-hand salary for these posts is Rs 29344. The exam is of 90 minutes in total, and candidates need to score at least 90 marks to pass. The paper is conducted in English, Hindi, and 13 regional languages. It should be noted that this exam is conducted only once a year.
