The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has begun accepting applications for the MTS (Multi Tasking Staff) and Havildar (Central Bureau of Indirect Taxes and Customs and Central Bureau of Narcotics) positions.
The application window will be open until July 31st, and a computer-based exam is expected to be held in November or December. The Stenographer Grade C and D Exam 2024 application process is anticipated to commence on July 26th.
For those interested in applying, a 10th-grade pass certificate is required for both positions. The salary for MTS and Havildar positions will be based on the 7th Pay Commission under Pay Level-1.
There are two age categories regarding age limits. The first category requires candidates between 18 and 25 years old, while the second category allows candidates between 18 and 27 years old. SC and ST category candidates will also receive a 5-year age relaxation, while OBC candidates will receive a 3-year relaxation.
The application fee is Rs 100 for general candidates, while women, SC, and ST category candidates are exempt from paying any fees.
The selection process for the post of Havildar involves a computer-based written exam, followed by a physical test and a physical standard test. For Havildar, male candidates should be 157.5 cm tall, while female candidates should be 152 cm tall and a minimum weight of 48 kg. Additionally, male candidates’ chests should measure 81 cm with a 5 cm expansion.
During the physical standard test, male candidates must walk 1600 meters in 15 minutes, and female candidates must run a 1 km race in 20 minutes.
