TS DSC 2024 Exam Dates Announced, Check Subject Wide Exam Schedule

On June 28, the Education Department of Telangana State announced the schedule for DSC examinations to fill 11,062 teacher positions in Telangana. The exams will be held from July 18 to August 5, and for the first time, they will be conducted in two shifts per day using the Computer-Based (CBRT) system.

The TS DSC 2024 Schedule is as follows:

• July 18: First shift – School Assistant (SA) Physical Science exam, Second shift – Physical Education Teacher (PET) exam.
• July 19 to 22: SGT exams of various mediums.
• July 20: SGT, Secondary Grade Physical, and Special Education exams.
• July 22: School Assistant Maths (SA Maths) exam.
• July 24: School Assistant Biological Science (SA Biology) exam.
• July 26: Telugu Language Pandit (Telugu Language Pandit) and Secondary Grade Teacher exams.
• July 30: School Assistant Social Studies (SA Social Studies) exam.
• Exams for the remaining subjects will be conducted until August 5.

The DSC notification for the 11,062 teacher vacancies was issued on February 28, with an application deadline of June 20. A total of 2.79 lakh applications were received, and officials estimate around 2 lakh candidates will participate.

The computer-based DSC examinations to fill 11,062 teacher posts in Telangana will be conducted from July 17. The application deadline was June 20, and a total of 2,79,956 applications were received. The highest number of applications, 27,027, were from Hyderabad district, followed by 15,610 applications from Nalgonda.

Additionally, many applications from other districts under the non-local quota (5 per cent) were received. Based on these numbers, it is estimated that there are about 25 applicants per post.
