The government of Andhra Pradesh has announced that summer vacation will start on April 24th and end on June 11th this year. This is being done to ensure that school children do not suffer from the intense heat of the sun. The duration of the summer vacation has been set at 50 days.
The exams for the 10th and inter classes have already been conducted, and exams for other classes are currently underway. The summer vacation is being announced immediately after the exams, as is the norm. The government has recently issued orders specifying the dates of the summer vacation. The last working day for schools will be on April 23rd. Schools will reopen on June 12th.
